Hello, I’m Bridget
I’m a business owner and freelance brand consultant with 20 years under my belt in the outdoor, fashion, travel and lifestyle industries.
My entrepreneurial spirit and passion for travel has led me to living, working and setting up business around the world over the last 2 decades which has shaped my unique set of skills, experience and world view.
I spent the first 10 years of my career as a visual merchandising and retail marketing manager for big brands and major fashion retailers across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Europe. Including French Connection, Just Jeans, Roger David and Ozmosis.
Then worked across the Asia Pacific region in the surf, streetwear and skate industries as APAC Trade Marketing Director for Quiksilver, Roxy and DC. Leading the trade and retail marketing program across flagship retail, franchise retail and major wholesale accounts for Australia and New Zealand, North Asia, Sth East Asia and Japan.
I moved to the Basque Coast of France in 2015 with my role as Global Trade Marketing Director at Quiksilver Boardriders HQ leading the global go-to-market strategy, tools, teams and processes for the three brands across the EMEA, USA and APAC regions.
Most recently I’ve been based between Marrakech, Morocco and Melbourne, Australia with my own business Nouvelle Nomad which I founded in 2016 to share the joys of travel and celebrate the beauty of handmade.
Today I run a "right size for me" sustainability led ecommerce and retail business across continents.
While continuing to work on a consultancy and project basis with a wide range of start ups through to global organisations.
Pairing my big brand experience with my own entrepreneurial journey to help other founders and brand teams launch their next big project or idea.
